 The performance of the alloy including the use of performance and process performance two aspects. Using performance is put forward by the conditions of use of alloy casting general requirements, including physical, mechanical and chemical properties, etc. As for the process performance, for die casting, according to the features of the die casting, used for die-casting alloy should have the following properties:

(1) good liquid flow, facilitate the habitat complex cavity filling, to obtain a good surface quality of die castings.

(2) have sufficient strength and plasticity at high temperature.

(3) the smaller shrinkage rate, in order to avoid demoulding deformation and cracking formation of castings, and help ensure die casting dimension precision.

(4) the crystallization temperature range is small, to prevent excessive shrinkage cavity and produce die casting shrinkage.

(5) the corrosion of the mold cavity.
