Automatic tensioner installation specification

1. Scope

This specification applies to the operation of the automatic tensioner assembly during the installation process.

2. Installation steps of anisotropic tensioner:

① Install the tensioner with an M10 countersunk bolt;

② The recommended bolt tightening torque is: (50±5) N·m;

③ Use a wrench to pull the tensioning arm to the maximum angle;

④ Pass the belt around the pulley in the correct order and keep it in the correct position;

⑤ Slowly loosen the tensioning arm and compress the belt.

⑥ Pull out the wrench and it's OK.

3. Installation steps of the same-direction tensioner:

① Use M10 flange bolts to fix the tension wheel;

② The recommended bolt tightening torque is: 50±5N·m;

③ Use a square hole wrench to pull the tension arm to the maximum angle;

④ Pass the belt around the pulley in the correct order and keep it in the correct position;

⑤ Slowly loosen the tension arm and compress the belt.

⑥ Pull out the wrench and it's OK.
